Leeds pupils learn to restart hearts
The event which spans across the UK and Australia was organised by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and included more than 100,000 students internationally.
Around 600 volunteers were involved across the county, teaching children how to respond in a medical emergency.

Hide AdIt is the event’s third year and was put together in conjunction with the Resuscitation Council (UK), the British Heart Foundation and St John Ambulance.
Dr Andrew Lockey, from the Resuscitation Council, said: “I hope that every child trained will have the confidence to make a difference in an emergency situation.”
