Patrick Kisnorbo enjoyed a debut season to remember with Leeds United . It kicked off with a head-wound on his debut against Exeter City which required stitches and led to him carry on with a head bandage. He played a starring role in the famous FA Cup win against Manchester United at Old Trafford. His season prematurely ended after he suffered a suspected ruptured achilles tendon against Millwall in March, just nine games shy of what would prove a promotion-winning campaign for Leeds United back to the Champsionship. Kisnorbo's performances earned him the 2009/10 fans Player of The Season award and also the Players Player Award.
