Ross McCormack - Leeds United fans memories of a class act
Ross McCormack brought hope, goals and bags of class to a Leeds United side that whimpered to a 15th place finish at the end of the 2013/14 season.
His 28 league haul featured a goal of the season strike against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road as well as two other memorable stand-out performances within four months of each other.

Hide AdHe became the first Leeds United player to score four goals in an away game - against Charlton Athletic at The Valley in November 2013 - for 87 years. That performance earned him a 10/10 rating from YEP Leeds United writer Phil Hay - the only maximum afforded to a striker during his time with the paper.
It was followed by a 'Super Saturday' hat-trick as part of a 5-1 demolition of Huddersfield Town at Elland Road in February 2013, less than 24 hours after 'Mad Friday' when he rang Sky Sports to weigh in on the fate of manager Brian McDermott.
End of season accolades followed. McCormack was named in the Championship PFA Team of the Year and at the club's annual awards ceremony won Fans Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and also the Goal of the Season award for his strike against Sheffield Wednesday.
Your YEP has asked the Elland Road faithful to share memories of a Leeds United captain and number 44.
