Yorkshire Day holidaymakers "Tyke" off in style with top flight send-off
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays marked yesterday's annual White Rose celebration in some style as local group So Choir! sang Yorkshire classics for departing customers.
Families enjoyed a timely lift thanks to the impromptu Tyke-inspired flash mob performance, coordinated by the county's leading airline and tour operator.

Hide AdLBA holidaymakers were surprised at check-in with rousing regional sing-song, complete with themed props and flags, to add to spirit of our special day.
Sporting tweed flat caps, choristers sang Yorkshire anthem Ilkley Moor Baht ‘at as well as classics by local lads made good, chart-topping Kaiser Chiefs.
To put families further in seasonal spirit, they also belted out such summer holiday hits as Take the Weather with You and ‘Staying Out for the Summer.
