“It will provide customers with a moment to consider the strength, depth and influence of brewers in neighbouring European countries and their impact on our own beer culture.
Mr Herbert added: “The beer list features special brews from across Europe, for example four Hungarian breweries such as Budapest’s Csupor, as well as brilliant beer from Belgium like cutting-edge De Dolle brewery and the more traditional St Feuillien.
“Other examples include vanguard Italians Birrificio del Ducato, not to mention start-up Brew Age.

The pub off Briggate and its sister venture The Turk’s Head, located next door, will also showcase rare cask ales from Spain after securing sought-after barrels from Sant Joan de Mediona and Sant Miquel De Balenya.
