Machete and cannabis seized during police raids in Burmantofts and Harehills

The raids took place last week (week commencing Monday, February 22) after tip-offs from the community.
A small amount of cannabis and the weapon were found in the house in Burmantofts.
Nothing was seized from the house in Harehills.

Hide AdA spokesman for the West Yorkshire Police - Leeds East team said: "In the last seven days, two warrants under the Misuse of Drugs were executed by Inner East Neighbourhood Policing Team 3 Officers.
"The warrants were executed in the Burmantofts and Harehills areas of Leeds, following community intelligence received.
"A small quantity of cannabis and a machete was seized from an address in Burmantofts and no items were seized from the property in Harehills.
"Officers will continue to act upon local intelligence received and would like to thank our local communities for their continued support."
