Man remanded in custody over Alwoodley crash which injured cyclist

A man has been remanded in custody over a crash in Alwoodley in which a cyclist was injured.
Lee McGann appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court today (Monday) charged with dangerous driving and possession of an imitation firearm.

Hide AdMcGann, 41, of Fieldmoor Lodge, Pudsey was arrested in connection with a road traffic collision in King Lane on Saturday morning.
A cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the incident.
McGann did not enter pleas to the charges and the case was committed to Leeds Crown Court.
The defendant will appear before the court on July 20 and will remain in custody until that date.
West Yorkshire Police have also referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Conduct due to their involvement before the crash happened.
