Police catch speeding driver outside Leeds primary school

Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit attended Guiseley, Yeadon, Hawksworth & Menston on Saturday.
One driver was caught and summoned to court after being caught at 38mph on a stretch of road outside a primary school, police said.
This was almost double the 20mph speed limit on the road.

Hide AdPolice also issued two tickets for driving without due care and attention and three people were pulled in and advised on their speed.
A total of three tickets were issued for defective brake lights.
Police said Hawksworth's 20mph zone 'is there for a reason'.
The force said: "It is a very narrow road, in a small village, with a primary school situated on it.
