Five arrested in Leeds armed robbery probe following Armley police raid
The armed raid on the Shaw Mills business on Armley Town Street in Armley on Saturday evening related to reports of a robbery in which a firearm was allegedly present on Arlington Place in Hunslet on Friday, July 27.

Hide AdIt is thought police officers are still on the scene in Armley this morning.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "On Friday 27th July officers attended a property on Arlington Place in Hunslet following reports of a robbery in which a firearm was reported to have been present.
"The 33-year old-occupant did not sustain any injuries.
"Following police enquiries, a 58-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were subsequently arrested on Saturday (28) morning.
"The 58-year-old was charged on suspicion of robbery and the second man was released under investigation.

Hide Ad"Enquiries continued into the afternoon which saw a further 54-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman arrested.
"The 54-year-old was charged with robbery. No further action was taken against the female.
"Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, at around 3pm, armed officers attended a caravan park in Baildon and arrested a 48-year-old man in connection with the offence.
"He currently remains in custody."
