Leeds communities unite to celebrate Hip Hop
The annual Leeds Hip Hop Community Day returned for 2016 with an array of workshops, art, music, dance and panel discussions at Leeds City Museum in Millennium Square.
There were free workshops on such areas as DJing, emceeing, graffiti, beatboxing and music production, along with a ‘Queens of Hip Hop’ showcase, highlighting the substantial and important female contributors to world Hip Hop culture.

Hide AdThe family-friendly and inclusive event also featured a very popular ‘baby Hip Hop block party’, where youngsters could take part in the celebration at their own mini party.
