Some of the UK’s most acclaimed folk stars have stepped through the doors of his store in Addingham, near Ilkley.
Over the last 25 years Peter Barton has built up a reputation for being a musical maestro when it comes to fretted instruments.

Peter said: “I love making something that then goes on to be a musical instrument.
“However, the real joy of making and fixing guitars is seeing someone play it, either on stage or even as a hobby. I’ve always enjoyed playing the guitar but I also enjoyed making them, so combining the two is the perfect job for me.”
