Meet the Leeds man giving up Coca Cola for charity
But for Adam Boniface, the drinking ban will continue until the end of 2016 - except it’s not alcohol he’s given up, but Coca Cola.
Adam, 32, is addicted to the fizzy pop and normally drinks at least a litre a day.

Adam, who lives in Farsley, is completing the challenge in memory of Amber Barltrop, the nine-month-old daughter of his close friends Tom and Helen, who tragically died last November after having two heart operations at the LGI.
He said: “Every year, everyone gives me ribbing about giving up Coca-Cola as a New Year’s Resolution.
“The Children’s Heart Surgery fund did an amazing job with all the care they gave to Amber. She was a fighter, so beautiful and so lovely.”

Hide AdMusical director Adam’s fundraising target is £5,000 and, if he hits it, he has pledged to get a Coca Cola tattoo somewhere on his body.
Before beginning the challenge at the start of January, he would pick up two 500ml bottles on his way to work, and also have a bottle in the fridge ready for when he got home.
He said: “I’m quite specific when I send people to buy coke for me - I don’t drink Diet Coke or Coke Zero. When I’m stressed, I do usually run for a coke, it’s my addiction.”
And his greatest supporters are his wife Esme, and twin sons Reuben and Noah, 4.
