According to Leeds Council, the brown bin collection service will resume from Monday March 22, 2021.
That means that depending on your area's day of the week, your brown bin will be collected in that week.

Hide AdIn Cookridge, for example, the brown bin is collected on Thursdays, so the next collection in Cookridge will be March 25.
In Alwoodley, brown bin day is Tuesday, so the next collection will be March 23.

From the first collection, the brown bin will be collected every two weeks until the end of autumn.
What can you put in your brown bin?
flowers and plants
grass cuttings
hedge clippings
leaves
twigs and small branches (no more than 3 cm thick)
windfall fruit
weeds (except noxious weeds)
Do not put these in your brown bin
plastic of any kind, including compostable and biodegradable
glass
food waste (including fruit and veg peelings)
pet bedding, pet waste or cat litter
soil
compost
rubble
noxious weeds
