Landlady fined for having dangerous electrics in shared house in Beeston
and live on Freeview channel 276
Mary Conlon, of Sefton Avenue in Beeston, had failed to correctly licence the property as a house of multiple occupation. She pleaded guilty at Leeds Magistrates' Court.
The house on Cemetery Road also had dangerously exposed electric wiring and poorly maintained fire escape routes.

The council have recently consulted the public on a selective licensing scheme for privately rented housing in Beeston and Harehills which they hope would improve the quality of accommodation.
