Former Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott has pledged his long-term future to Super League newcomers Toronto by signing a five-year contract extension.
The four-time Grand Final winning coach has been rewarded for guiding the Canadian club to promotion in his first season at the helm.
“We feel there isn’t a better coach out there that can guide this team to greatness,” said Wolfpack chairman Bob Hunter.
