TV show set to cook up a Leeds Greek anniversary treat
George and his wife Vasoulla, who are at the helm of The Olive Tree restaurant, are set to grace television screens this week with a big Greek challenge.
The couple will play host to Channel Four’s Too Many Cooks series which sees three amateur foodie couples become party planners.

Hide AdGeorge and wife will hand over the reigns of their kitchen at their treasured Headingley restaurant to three couples from Leeds.
As part of the challenge the couples from Hyde Park, Tingley and Bramhope are working their way around the city’s kitchens to plan a variety of eye-catching parties.
They are being tasked to whip up a storm with a big Greek wedding anniversary party at The Olive Tree.
Mr Psarias, a Greek Cypriot, moved to England when he was aged 16.

Hide AdHe worked in management before deciding to open a restaurant with his wife Vasoulla.
He told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “It’s a fun programme, we are really excited for it. There was music and dancing, we really enjoyed it.”
But he remained tight-lipped over who looks set to win the competition.
He added:“The couples were all of a very high standard.
“I won’t tell you who the winner was but they deserved it.”
Some of the other challenges facing the budding chefs include a French themed house warming party, in Shadwell, and a Jungle themed fitness studio party, filmed in Heckmondwike.
The episodes based in Leeds looks set to start this week on Channel 4 at 5.30pm.
The episode featuring The Olive Tree will air on Friday afternoon.
