The 20-pound meal more than doubled the previous known record which stood at nine pounds.
The epic Christmas grub was cooked up by chefs at The George pub in Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside, and contained a five-pound turkey crown, two pounds of mashed potatoes, 70 sprouts, a pound of turnip and swede mash, 30 broccoli florets, 15 cauliflower florets, 40 baby carrots, 35 honey-roasted parsnips, 25 roast potatoes and 30 stuffing balls, washed down with an unlimited supply of gravy as well as mint and cranberry sauces.
