A week in the life of Leeds United - European Super League to social media boycott and a Manchester United game in between
Quite the news week in the world of Leeds United
This time last week the 12 clubs, six of them from England’s Premier League, threatening to break away from UEFA to form their own Super League was at peak outrage among fans, players and football clubs.
That anger manifested itself in the well-executed show of solidarity for football’s traditions by Leeds United’s supporters and players on Monday night, when Liverpool came to town.

Leeds United again are at the heart of what should be a powerful message to the social media companies who do not do enough to prevent online abuse.
And then in between all that was that old classic between Leeds United and Manchester United on Sunday. A classic fixture if not a classic game.
If ever a contest needed fans to lift it and generate the passion, it was yesterday’s game.
