EFL reveal latest coronavirus test results as Leeds United continue countdown to resuming promotion quest

TWO individuals from two different clubs have tested positive for coronavirus following the latest round of COVID-19 testing within the EFL Championship.

Barnsley have confirmed they are one of the two clubs to return a positive test - with one of their backroom staff having coronavirus.

A statement released by the EFL on Sunday evening read: "Following the latest round of COVID-19 testing, the EFL can confirm that 1179 players and club staff from the 24 Championship clubs were tested over the course of Wednesday 3 June, Thursday 4 June, Friday 5 June and Saturday 6 June, with two individuals testing positive from two clubs.
