Hide AdChaz, from Bradford, told the Yorkshire Evening Post many people would now benefit from the generosity of fans.
He said: "Yesterday morning I had the idea of putting our £20 e-voucher from Leeds United to good use by giving to to someone who needed an extra little help during Christmas.
"This year has been difficult for a lot of people with Covid19, lockdown and job losses so I thought that maybe I could ease the pressure of buying presents for somebody.
"It originally wasn't an appeal, it was just me and a tweet to help someone.
