Interestingly, Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has liked a tweet from a supporter asking for the club to sign £30m-rated midfielder Rodrigo De Paul before their next game.
The Argentina international was linked with a move to Elland Road all throughout last summer’s window, but according to The Athletic, the move is unlikely to happen.
Leeds were said to be put off by the lofty price tag in the end, despite having pursued the 26-year-old with a keen interest for some time.
But it appears Radrizzani may be a fan of the Udinese star, with the Leeds chairman liking a supporter’s tweet suggesting that De Paul was needed before Bielsa’s men return to action.
The Whites lost 1-0 to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, a result which brings the bottom half of the division closer together.
Indeed, the Yorkshire club have also been linked with another transfer deal overnight following the loss on the south coast to the Seagulls.
Ex-Liverpool youngster Yan Dhanda is reportedly attracting interest from Bournemouth and Leeds after impressing at Swansea - while Marseille, Atalanta and RB Leipzig are also keeping tabs on him.
The Daily Mail state that “Leeds are aware of his capabilities and could have room should they lose Tyler Roberts this month.”
