Denmark international Christian Norgaard was taken off midway through the second half of last weekend’s 1-1 draw at home to Everton and boss Thomas Frank has revealed that the midfielder will be out for a matter of weeks.
Norgaard will miss Saturday afternoon’s Premier League clash against the Whites but former Leeds defender and now Bees captain Pontus Jansson has recovered from a minor foot issue and boss Thomas Frank has revealed that the Swede start against the Whites.

Hide AdFellow defender Kristoffer Ajer is also close to making a return following hamstring surgery.
Bees boss Frank provided his team news at Friday afternoon’s pre-match press conference and said of Jansson: “It’s a big boost.
“I want my captain in, but I want to praise Zanka because he’s done a top job in there.
"We have some good centre-backs with some good quality.
“Kristoffer is definitely knocking on the door, literally on my office door and also on the training pitch. Hopefully I will involve him.”

Hide AdProviding an update on Norgaard, Frank explained: “Christian has an achilles problem, so he’ll be out for some weeks.
“No surgery; it’ll just recover over time. He’s had issues with the achilles over a period of time and now it’s too much.”
