Marcelo Bielsa alternated between a 3-3-1-3 in the first half and 4-1-4-1 in the second against Millwall in midweek. The Argentine, though, would be expected to start with the latter against the Latics with Paul Cook often opting for a 4-2-3-1 this season meaning Bielsa would need a holding midfielder to deal with the opposing number 10. Ben White should step forward in place of the suspended Kalvin Phillips but could Gaetano Berardi provide an option at centre-back if required? Here's our line-up with one change...
1. Kiko Casilla - GK
United's number one.
2. Luke Ayling - RB
Played as part of a back four then a back three in midweek. Expect him to shift back to his normal right-back position.
3. Liam Cooper - CB
Bielsa's skipper. Usually starts when fit.
4. Gaetano Berardi - CB
The one change and it's a difficult one to make. Berardi in at centre-back following a calf injury due to Ben White being required in midfield.
5. Stuart Dallas - LB
Super hard on Alioski after a brilliant second half in midweek but his inconsistent form comes into play. Dallas played in midfield and at right-back against Millwall. Usually gets in somewhere.
6. Ben White - CDM
With Wigan often deploying a 4-2-3-1 White should shift into the Kalvin Phillips role. He played at centre-back and here against Millwall. Looked comfortable in both.
