According to Football Insider, Leeds are among the English top-flight clubs who Delort has been offered to.
It is claimed Montpellier are trying to offload the striker as the financial crisis in French football continues to bite.
The Sun reported earlier in the month Wolves and Newcastle United were competing for £14million-rated Delort.
His Wigan Athletic spell and the aftermath
Delort has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 18 Ligue 1 matches this season, though his reputation in England needs somewhat repairing.

Hide AdWigan Athletic paid £3million for the striker in 2014 after he netted an impressive 24 goals in just 36 Ligue 2 outings for Tours FC.
But having failed to score in his first 11 matches for the Latics, he was swiftly loaned back to his former club before joining Caen permanently.
Bar his one season spell in Mexico with Tigres UANL, Delort has since enjoyed a healthy goal record in France with Toulouse and now Montpellier.
Better than Mbappe?
According to the official Ligue 1 website, Delort was ranked as the fastest player in France’s top-flight last season.

Are Leeds interested?
There is no suggestion that Victor Orta and co are interested in his services, despite the Ligue 1 side doing their best to drum up interest.
Marcelo Bielsa did not rule out signings during the window, admitting opportunities may arise for director of football Orta to act but the Argentine is believed to be content with the first-team squad as it is.
Patrick Bamford has led the line extremely well so far, netting 10 goals in 18 games.
Orta has a number of targets lined up in case circumstances dictate and Leeds need to dip into the market, though are more likely to wait until the summer.
