Preston North End 1 Leeds United 1: YEP player ratings
Marco Silvestri
Did his bit to keep United’s clean sheet in tact but as has been the case too often this season, the defence in front of him dug their own hole. 7/10
Lewie Coyle
Looks the part at right-back and took on a very good player in Adam Reach. Coyle limited the service from him without stopping it completely. 7/10

Hide AdA strong performance from United’s captain, if not quite as strong as his comments afterwards. The goal was not his fault. 7/10
Liam Cooper
Quite stretched in periods of the first half but went off at the interval after a nasty clash of heads with Joe Garner. 6/10
Charlie Taylor
Not for the first time, his crossing led to Leeds’ goal by forcing Kirkland to concede a penalty. He’s had an excellent campaign. 7/10
Luke Murphy
Been well worth his place in the past few weeks and is at his best when he tries to get forward. The foul on him earned United’s spot kick. 7/10
Toumani Diagouraga

Hide AdSteady enough but was never able to take a proper grip of the contest. In fairness, Preston are an organised, competitive side. 6/10
Lewis Cook
The frustration in him was clear to see again and you can tell that Cook wants to be making more of an impact than he has. 6/10
Stuart Dallas
Was always in the game and kept Preston busy but not a lot that he tried came off. Heading for the Euros with Northern Ireland now. 6/10
Alex Mowatt
Could have scored with a header in the first half and was a little more influential but he is one player who really needs to draw breath. 6/10
Chris Wood

Hide AdGreat penalty, buried with no messing about and a bullet of a strike. There’s no doubt that Championship defences find him hard work. 7/10
Substitutes:
Scott Wootton (for Cooper, 46) - Hardly put a foot wrong until he allowed Hugill to nick the ball from him in injury-time. Leeds have committed too many errors like that. 4/10
Mirco Antenucci (for Mowatt, 67) - This could well be his final appearances for the club. Once again, he carried a threat. 6/10
Ronaldo Vieira (for Dallas, 90) - You can hardly judge a player on one touch but the 17-year-old knew exactly what to do when the ball fell to him. 5/10
