Amateur RL: Oulton Raiders close in on second division crown
Josh Murray led the way with a hat-trick for Raiders, who close their campaign at Askam on Saturday.

Hide AdEast Leeds’ Will Silkston was sent-off for alleged punching in a 46-12 defeat at Leigh East.
The Leeds side led 12-6 at the break through Ryan Woofitt’s brace of tries, both of which he converted.
Thornhill Trojans, who are second, were 32-12 victors at home to Askam. Will Gledhill (2), James Craven, Wayne Wilson, Liam Green and Anthony Broadhead crossed and George Woodcock added four goals.
Relegation-threatened Hunslet Warriors gave Division One leaders Underbank Rangers a scare before being pipped 16-10.

Hide AdWarriors’ try scorers were Luke Day and Ben Gale, and Gary McClelland added a conversion.
Hunslet Club Parkside, who trail Underbank on points difference with a game in hand, remain on course for the title after a 34-14 win at Featherstone Lions.
Andy Hullock scored a second-half hat-trick, Michael Waite, Omar Alrawi and Danny Harrison also crossed and Jamie Fields kicked five goals.
Third-placed Milford Marlins lost 22-10 at Lock Lane.
Gareth Fairhead and Luke Watts crossed and Josh Cawood added a goal.
Tries by Niall Murphy and Jack Smith and two Liam Coplan conversions earned second-placed Stanningley a 12-8 win over Barrow Island in Division Three.
