Community RL: Leeds sides celebrate youth cup wins
Stanningley lifted the under-14 trophy after an 8-4 win over Siddal at Featherstone Rovers’ LD Nutrition Stadium and Warriors defeated Castleford Lock Lane 16-6 in the under-16 decider.
Captain Ethaine Wainwright and loose-forward Nicholas Staveley were Stanningley’s try scorers and hooker Denive Balmforth was player of the match.

Hide AdJoseph Maloney, Andrew Stewart and Robert Davidson crossed for Warriors and player of the match Harry Shackleton added two conversions before Taylor Cartwright scored a consolation try for Lock Lane which Billy Marsh improved.

Tom Sowerby crossed twice, Craig Duncan, Adam Garlick and Tom Sharpe also touched down and Craig Duncan kicked five conversions, with man of the match Connor Land adding a drop goal.
Featherstone will stage three more Yorkshire Cup finals on Saturday. East Leeds under-12s face Castleford Lock Lane at 11.30am, Leeds Irish take on Lock Lane in the under-13s decider (12.45pm) and Lock Lane under-15s play Wetherby Bulldogs (2.15pm).
