Under the road map out of lockdown, the initial date of June 21 has been set for all restrictions to be eased - permitting festivals and large gatherings.
From the city's beloved independent venues like the Brudenell Social Club and Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen, to bigger venues like the O2 Academy and the First Direct Arena - there are some amazing artists performing in Leeds this year.
1. Bad Boy Chiller Crew
The Bad Boy Chiller Crew exploded on the music scene in 2020 and have already bagged a spot on the Leeds Festival line-up this August. The Bradford bassline lads are also performing performing at the O2 Academy on Saturday, October 9 after originally selling out Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen.
2. Jessie Ware
Jessie Ware is performing at the O2 Academy following the release of her fourth critically-acclaimed album What's Your Pleasure? The London-born artist is also known for her Table Manners podcast which she hosts with her mum. She is performing on December 7.
3. Arlo Parks
Singer-songwriter Arlo Parks will be performing at the Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen following the huge success of her debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, which peaked at number three on the UK albums charts in 2021.She is performing on Wednesday, May 26. Photo: Alexandra Waespi

5. Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa is due to perform at the First Direct Arena on September 21. The star released her second album Future Nostalagia in 2020 and has since collobarated with Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Missy Elliot.
6. Snoop Dog
Legendary rapper Snoop Dog is due to perform a the First Direct Arena on September 8. Snoop has sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.
