Leeds residents invited to enjoy new activities this summer
Undertaken as part of Leeds City Council’s ‘Safe, Strong Communities ’ project, the aim of the programme is to provide residents, firstly those in the Boggart Hill area of Seacroft ,with the confidence and knowledge to access opportunities that are available in their community and across the city.

Hide Ad“There are some fantastic events planned in Seacroft over the next 12 weeks as part of our Safer, Stronger Communities programme and I would urge residents to get involved and have fun whilst learning new skills.
“This is a brilliant initiative and I am looking forward to seeing this type of programme rolled out in other communities across the city in the future.”
Activities on offer include an over 60s lunch club every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a singing group every Thursday and a ‘Zest – Health for Life’ group for men on Mondays.
There will alos be weekly Seacroft socials throughout the 12 weeks and opportunities for young people to get involved with Radio Drama at the Chapel FM Arts Centre.
The activities will be running until September 29.
